I am baffled by the decision to include only a single attachment strap, unless the goal is to guarantee the cover can be blown off by a moderate wind. I thought everyone knew the saying, "two is one, and one is none," but clearly not.
Further, the single strap, itself, is a faulty design that allows the cover to be detached by the wind and blow into my neighbors' bushed. That is, the strap does not secure in a loop position, back-to-front but rather secures with the straps flat against one another face-to-face like clapping hands (see photo). This means that, once the cover blows off, a decent wind can catch the cover like a sail and detach it from the grill.
I truly would love to know how a company that can design beautiful and well-made grills can sell such a piece of junk.
