I have now used it 4 times and already see huge results to my underarms and legs.

I found the instructions rather confusing at first and was very nervous. However, I downloaded the IOS app and WOW, easy step by step instructions and reminds me when my treatment is due.

I found the flashing light very helpful as it tells me when the machine is placed correctly and ready to press. Instead of just pressing everywhere and it not actually working.

I used it on a lower setting at first just till I was little more confident.

I am honestly amazed and my once very hairy legs are almost hair free.

I highly recommend this guys you won’t regret it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product! I don’t think I could be without it now. It has made my hair removal so make easier in the comfort of my our home. I’m a very hairy person and have been suffering with the constant trips to salons and the everyday shaving palaver.

The Philips Lumea Advance IPL is fantastic! I shave the areas I want to treat first then go over with the IPL. I love the fact you can adjust the setting according to skin tone, it won’t allow you to use if your skin tone is dark as it recognises hard skin. I like that it’s mains connected as you don’t have to worry about running out of battery mid way. So far I have done my upper lip, side burns, chin and neck and have seen a big difference in just 2 uses. I’ve also done my underarms and again after 2 uses I’ve hardly got any hair there. I’ve done my legs and arms twice and the hair growth is very patchy but I’m confident that with more uses I will have a very little or no hair left.

I’m so pleased with this product, it has given me the confidence i so longed for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this product. After 8 weeks of using the product my legs are pretty much hair free it’s truly amazing. You have to use the product a few times, (fortnightly) before you see results but you get them, I’m really impressed.

Wasn't really expecting it to be so good - within several sessions (2/3) 80 % of hair gone! Fantastic for facial hair. No pain, just feels a bit hot.

Wish I'd bought one years ago.

Seemed expensive until I saw the fab results, yep very pleased.

The app was useful and gave me reminders for when I should be using my lumea. The different attachments were useful and I loved the facial pen!! I love that this was pain free just a warming sensation on your skin. The best results I've had are on my legs. Very impressed and would definitely recommend this product! Saving me hassle of shaving!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this 3 times now, I have used it fortnightly as required and from the second to third use I could see a difference in hair growth. I am looking forward to not having to shave as much if at all in the Summer (depends on the length of Summer). I would recommend using the app it is a good reminder and gives you info and tips. It took a little getting used to and at times it was hard to work out where I had used it so may have done some laces twice, I have used it on my legs and underarm. Definitely read the instructions and stick to them. I will continue to use it and hope for a hair free summer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to use this product. As a lady that when comes summer, dreads the awful leg & bikini shaving. I also felt that this hair removal device was too good to be true. My leg hairs grow so fast that when freshly shaved in the morning, they are already getting prickly by early evening. I started my 1st treatment & was surprised by how easy it was to use. There are 3 different head attachments, 1 for legs, body & underarms, 1 for bikini area & 1 for the face. (I haven't used the face one as it is not an issue for me.)

When using for the underarms I was surprised when the red flash goes off & there was a slight burn but you can adjust the heat setting, 1-5, depending on your skin tone & hair colour. The underarms treatment took around 5 minutes, which was around the same time as the bikini area. It is painless, just feeling a little heat, nothing which got me worried.

Both legs took around 15 minutes to complete. I found it a bit hard to get the device to work around my ankle area as I have bony, slim ankles, the device needs to be at a 90° angle to work & if not placed flat on the skin, it won't work.

I have completed 4 cycles, after my 1st cycle, I had a bout of sinusitis & left the 2nd treatment longer than the recommended 2 weeks, it was about 3 & half weeks, so I don't know if that had any effect. It took just 2 treatments to realise my armpit hair had slowed down & 3 treatments to see that my leg hair had slowed down to the point where I only had to shave twice in a week & a half! Yes, that is true! My skin feels much smoother too.

At my 4th treatment, my bikini hair growth has slowed down a touch but still grows faster than my legs & underarm hair. The main reason for using the lumea advanced was so that I could reduce shaving my bikini area as I suffer greatly was shaving rash. I've noticed that the rash from shaving has reduced inbetween treatments which is a plus!

I am looking forward to completing the course & to seeing the results. This is honestly an absolute must for women who are fed up with daily shaving. I am both happy & amazed with the results that I already have. Hopefully by the time summer comes I shall be virtually hair free, or at least able to last a week or two before I need to get the razor out!
