I live in a Victorian House with very thick walls up to 19"- living room, dining room, kitchen breakfast and 4 x bedrooms. It was always hit and miss in getting WiFi around the house, the best when away from the main hub would be about 11Mb. However, since buying this and setting up a home mesh, i.e. no switching between routers, I average around 50Mb. Much better than I had expected.

Very easy to setup and no more internet blind spot. Covers the whole house. Has every imaginable feature and configuration, including in built menu to add vpn. I did not find any loss of signal and internet speed at the node. Both the mobile app and website are very intuitive and easy to use. Took 15 mins to setup and ready.

Stellar performance that will hopefully futureproof us for several years. Compared with the WiFi 5 mesh router and satellite combo we were using previously, this product from Asus easily outclasses it in every way. The mobile configuration app is a cinch to use and you can easily modify settings on the go using your smartphone. The WiFi backhaul between the two devices is solid and compared with the last product, we experience no dropouts whatsoever. Overall WiFi coverage in our 3-storey house is stronger and the ability to apply parental controls without an additional service subscription is a bonus. We are really delighted with the ASUS ZenWiFi AX (XT8) and cannot recommend it highly enough.

The Asus router has a very good coverage in my house and is just the improvement I was looking for.

Excellent mesh system. I know it's expensive, but well worth the money. Very fast WiFi on phones, tablets, and smart tvs. 10/10.
