It has several modes. The most powerful mode is very useful and effective, especially on carpets and corners. We are very happy with the feature of standing by itself, without the need of installing any "base". The battery lasts quite a lot. The quality is not bad, but I think some part could improve. I miss the led light that other brands have in the swivel head.
