The side shelf is not sturdy, will not hold much weight, and is very weakly designed.

Nice shelf for holding utensils, dishes, etc. Sturdy, attractive addition to our pellet grill. Handle is handy when you need to move your grill.

Can't have too luch shelf space! This extra shelf is sturdy and very handy. Easy to add to the Smokefire.

The side table is convenient, but build quality is not the best. Sharp edges, is not level. Tilts slightly

I bought this side table for my EX6 and it looks fabulous but the material is way to thin and flimsy. It always bothers me to set a brisket in it cause I’m afraid it’ll colapse!

Always need more table top space it seems as you’re out grilling. This was a great buy for my pellet grill

The folding side shelf is a great idea in theory. Unfortunately the execution is disappointing. It is serviceable though and will suffice until an aftermarket or updated version comes out.

The material is way to thin and the shelf is not as sturdy compared to some of the competition. The stainless steel is super thin and doesn't even compare to the side shelf on my old Genesis.

This shelf is way too flimsy. Not the typical quality I would expect from Weber.

This adds lots of usable surface area. It’s easy to install, and put up. It’s sturdy enough for it’s intended use. The only down side is it makes the handle on the side pretty much useless. It’s very awkward to try and pick up the grill to get over the lip in the concrete at my garage door. I’ve considered taking it back off, but I sure do like the extra surface area.

Great addition to our SmokeFire. Our grill is outside and there's no place to set anything, so this side table is comes in very handy. The bottle opener is a nice touch but it has really sharp edges. Stainless steel has some sharp edges as well.

Solid enough when locked in which is main purpose. Really easy to install and use so it is highly functional. Bottle opener is pretty cheap. Would really like to see additional hooks for utensils and/or make the sides magnetic.

The shelf was easy to install. I expected to be made a little heavier.

The side table is great for small things. I set a 16 pound brisket and cookie sheet on it and bent it. Also the handle makes it slightly more difficult to move. I think the design is good, but the metal is just too thin.

Easy to install - sturdy for the purpose. Swings a little in the wind when folded down.

ITS A GOOD IDEA BUT BUILT POORLY NOT VERY STURDY I WOULD NOT PUT ANYTHING TO HEAVY ON IT KIND OF DISAPPOINTING.

Just installed it today. The metal is very thin and sharp and the the angles on the mounting brackets do not have a sharp corner bend. It actually makes the SmokeFire look like a much cheaper grill instead of a real upgrade. I would prefer the option for a sturdy shelf similar to the quality of metal and construction on the right. A total waste of money.

Works well just do not use to move the grill little flimsy for that.

Side shelf is easy to install. Doesn’t seem to be as sturdy as front shelves. Still nice to have.

It is better than not having a side table, but it is a little underwhelming. It is a little flimsy and it doesn't have a real positive feel when opening and closing.

Added the shelf to help with handling food that is bein prepared.

Well designed and helps increase work spaces. Better here than in front.... out of the way.
