Purchased to replace a Delonghi that had served its time (well) predominantly attracted by the LatteGo feature. This is a pretty misleading feature however as this model doesn’t make lattes! The only milk based drink therefore this is useful for is cappuccino so a bit of a gimmick. The cappuccino option makes a very small serving that doesn’t combine particularly well and needs stirring otherwise your first mouthful is predominantly weak watery coffee. The 2 x coffee option is reasonable but there’s no option to add hot milk via the ‘LatteGo’ and as this replaces a traditional frother you would have to heat milk independently somehow if required. It does look very good and is easy to operate but in my opinion there are better alternatives with wider options for very similar if not cheaper price points. I would definitely be returning the machine if not already unpacked and tested. I would suggest if you’re considering purchasing and don’t want to be limited (ironically) by the LatteGo feature then either invest in the more expensive model or maybe look at other brands

Have been using nespresso pods but always wanted to get a decent bean to cup machine and this model does the trick.

There are newer model recently released but for the price it's great. I did wonder what the latte2go branding meant as it isn't on choices of coffee it makes but then googled how a standard latte is made and its expresso and a mix of steamed milk and froth which the system does with the milk unit.

The biggest advantage for me is perhaps the milk frothing container due to easy cleaning - just rinse this two-piece container under running water and it is clean! It is also possible to wash it in a dishwasher and store the milk in the fridge when you use a larger amount. The downside is that there is no just milk frothing function. It's a pity. Next, a great plus is the possibility to set coffee strength and quantity. The coffee machine works great, now I have delicious coffee with frothed milk without leaving home. It’s so easy to use. Besides making delicious coffee, the product has a nice design and is fairly quiet. Easy to use touch panel. The Philips company makes elegant equipment and this one is also like that. A large advantage is also a water container that is very easy to fill without moving the entire coffee machine because it is located at the front. In addition, a removable water filter softens the water, which affects the taste of the coffee and protects the machine against limescale.

There are not many types of coffee to choose from - only white, black, espresso. However, this is not a big defect – thanks to this simplicity, we will not spend a few minutes thinking every morning wondering which mode to choose where in fact coffee does not differ much in taste. Maybe I'm just missing the typical latte coffee option here. The system cappuccino is quite small, with a capacity of 200 ml, but the froth is very nice for an automatic coffee machine. Together with the kit, I received a tube of grease for moving parts. According to the instructions, this should be applied after washing the inside of the machine. It is great that the manufacturer took care of such small but important detail.

Adjusting the coffee grinder is also a big advantage. In addition, the product is characterized by very easy access for refilling coffee beans and the possibility of making ground coffee.

Advantages: price, nice design, easy cleaning, tasty coffee, milk container without hoses, easy to use. Disadvantages: no wide function selection - latte coffee with LatteGo in the name of the machine, only one white coffee option.

The coffee tastes absolutly amazing like one of made by professional barrister. Cream on top of americano is realy impressive. The manual instruction were clear and easy to understand on how to set up the coffee machine along with it other features. The coffee machine is quite straight forward and clear to understand even without having the need to read the instruction. One of the features I found enjoyable is the wide variety of coffee sizes and how well the machine made them. The cappuccino made by the machine is delightfull, because the milk goes first and then the rest and looks aesthetic through a clear glass due to the layers it makes. I'm also impressed with how the milk container works and it's easy of use during usage and washing afterwards. Despite this, the only negative(s) is that it's not a possibility to choose how frothy the milk is. Another connected minus is that I can't make plain frothed milk for hot chocolate.

Overall, I love this coffee machine as it's aesthetically pleasing in practice and looks smart in my Kitchen.

It’s simple and compact built is makes it i easy to store as it doesn’t take much space and doesn’t creat unnecessary mess.

The manual and online support are easy to understand and very informative.

Use of ground coffe and coffe bins is great feature. The choice of strength and size of coffee is just perfect for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This compact coffee machine perfectly fits in my small kitchen. The height was just right for the tiny space under my cupboard.

I was worried that unpacking from the box will be difficult, however plastic strip with handles fastened around coffee machine helps a lot. This simple solution made it very easy.

The initial set up of coffee machine was about 30 minutes. It seems to be a little too long but this is necessary to ensure all is done properly. The manual included in the box is clear and easy to follow. The strip for checking water hardness was included in the pack as well. There is a very hard water in our area so the Aqua Clean water filter fitted in this appliance is very useful. This filter is reducing limescale as a result you don’t need to descale your coffee machine too often.

This coffee machine can be adjusted in many ways so you can personalise your coffee to ensure you have the best quality and strength of your drink.

The ceramic grinder can be adjusted to change coffee strength. I didn’t used this yet as the original settings suits my needs. There is also possibility of using pre-ground coffee to make your drink however I will not use this function.

I prefer to drink cafe latte and cappuccino as a result I am the main user of Latte Go system in my household. I really like it, it is easy to use and clean. However it could have different settings of milk frothing. Also it will be useful if this has got a function for warming the milk.

In overall this is a good coffee maker which perfectly fit in my tiny kitchen. I really enjoy my brew prepared from freshly grounded coffee!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product for the everyday coffee drinker. We experimented with multiple drink options and milks and every one worked fantastic. We were a little worried the latte go wouldn't work with no dairy milk such as Oat and Almond but it worked great, we even tried an iced latte with the espresso option and have been having them daily since.

We were a completely blown away by the quality of the coffee produced on this machine. We really enjoyed testing out the multiple coffee options and the speed in which it produced them, from been to brew quicker than boiling a kettle!

There were only a few cons in the product we found in the time we have had it. It is slightly too large for what it producers personally for us. The buttons have no pressure point so they are hard to press and work sometimes. Its called a Latte Go yet doesn't make Lattes, this wasn't a big thing as its make cappuccinos but seemed a little odd.

Other than these small problems its a fantastic everyday coffee machine for us and if ever the day comes to upgrade we will definitely stick with Phillips and this product line!

Its so versatile, I love the fact that you can use coffee beans or ground coffee. It means in my house no coffee goes to waste! Adjusting the strength of the coffee or adding more or less water, depending on your preference is another another positive for me.

The milk frother is fabulous, it does a good job and makes a great cappucino.

The machine is very simple to use, it tells me when the water tank is low, or when I need to empty the drip tray or coffee grounds. Saves me having another job on my list to remember to do! I would definitely reccommend this wonderful coffee machine to everyone.

I managed to set up this coffee machine in less than 10 minutes once reading the instructions, it was very easy and the manual has plenty of guidance if something isn’t working correctly. There is plenty of room for the coffee beans and I love how it grinds the beans for each coffee to keep it tasting fresh! The part where the coffee is poured from is adjustable in height which means the coffee doesn’t splash if using a small cup. The machine also allows you to adjust the settings so you can have a coffee just the way you like it and also has an option to use ground coffee instead of beans. Overall this coffee machine produces great tasting coffee, is easy to use and easy to clean. The only thing I have to criticise is that you can’t change the height of where the milk is poured from, if using a smaller mug, the milk can splash a bit as it has a long way to go to the mug and so this is why I have given 4/5 stars.

I really appreciated the freshly grounded coffee smell and the coffee taste that this machine is able to produce. It's easy to use and the absence of pods make it also very cheap. You can easily change the intensity of coffee and try different type of drinks. The LatteGo system is incredibly easy to clean and makes a wonderful froth. Loved it!

I've worked in a Cafe for many years and I love the fact this Coffee machine performs in coffee taste and smell the same as a cafe espresso machine. I just love the taste of coffee from Philips 2200 series LatteGo, it's Fresh and delicious and you can customize the coffee strength that suits you the best and how much coffee you need in your glass/cup.

Secondly it has automatic cleaning everytime you turn it on and it's easy to follow the set up and cleaning procedure when you turn it on for the first time. AquaClean water filter is a big + to descale the coffee machine which reduces limescale build-up and preserves the taste of Coffee to the maximum.

The milk container is small( 2 cups full) but it's very good because you only put as much milk as needed rather than a big container full of milk which will take lots of space in your fridge and its easy to wash. My husband loves Cappuccino. Me normal option, Coffee.

I've tried all the options and all are great.

You don’t have to remember to fill it up with water because the machine shows it on the screen if is not enough. The serving size is a cup size but if you prefer bigger coffee you can just simply add some more hot water. My favourite is cappuccino.

I have been using this coffee machine for some time now and I am amazed by this product. The coffee it makes is rich in flavour and the milk is perfectly steamed.

Since I have opened the box, I was amazed by the quality and design of this machine it felt very solid and well made. The manual was very easy to understand and made the whole setting up process relatively simple and pleasant.

This coffee machine is very easy to use, simple touch sensitive buttons and not many options make it very user friendly.

The size of the coffee and strength can be easily adjusted by the press of a button so anyone can find their perfect coffee.

As mentioned earlier the quality of the product is outstanding everything is well put together, the coffee machine is relatively quiet.

From my experience I can tell that cleaning the machine is as easy as it gets the access to all the parts that need to be cleaned is simple and because every part is high quality there is no chance of getting anything damaged while cleaning.

Overall, I highly recommend this product if someone is looking for an affordable coffee machine that is easy to use, looks very smart and provides really good quality coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sleek looking coffee machine that offers selection of drinks. Milky one is only Cappucino. The other two are black coffee (americano) and espresso plus hot water. I would like to have also latte as an option. Display is very intuitive and easy to use. Milk frother does a really good job (we use oat milk) and milk is nice and foamy.

Temperature of the drinks is perfect, hot & steamy.

I can’t see any cons apart from very minimal selection of drinks. Grinder works well, it’s reasonably quiet and looks good.

With just the press of a button you can have yourself a great tasting cappuccino/espresso/coffee without having to pay a barista to make it for you!

The water tank is easily accessible and is located on the right hand side of the machine which makes it easier to monitor the water levels and top up when needs be.

I found that when I first used to machine for a cappuccino it brewed a much smaller portion than what I am used to but with a play around in the settings I’ve managed to find the perfect amount for me so that my coffee needs are met.

The addition of the milk frother is perfect. It’s very straight forward to use and there’s not a lot of assembly required. It simply slips on and off making refilling the milk simple

When the machine arrived I worried it wouldn’t fit on my counter under the kitchen cabinets, but it easily slotted in with plenty of room above so that I could top the coffee beans up as when needed.

Setting up the machine was the most complicated bit, but luckily Phillips YouTube videos helped me understand a little bit more, rather than just reading the instruction manual. There’s a step by step tutorial which I followed along side the set up, without that I would have probably struggled with just the manual alone.

The upkeep and maintenance of the machine is extremely easy. There are several different lights on the machine which indicate if something needs emptying or replacing. With the addition of the filter it means less time descaling. As long as I've kept the different parts of the machine rinsed and cleaned correctly there haven’t be any issues. Eventually the filter will need replacing and they are available to buy from Phillips. Overall, I’m really impressed at how easy this machine is to maintain.

By having the coffee machine it’s helped me cut out daily trips to coffee shops on my route to work because I have all I need to make an excellent brew at home. I’ve found a new love for cappuccinos since the arrival of this machine rather than my go to Americanos from the coffee shops.

I’ve tried a few different types of coffee beans with this machine and played around with the settings for the perfect strength and found that a 4/5 works best for my taste, depending on the type of drink.

The machine itself grinds the beans so that the coffee is always fresh. There is also an option of adding in pre ground coffee into a separate compartment. I tend to sway more towards the beans but that’s just my preference. However I will add that the pre ground is just as delicious, and both provide a delicious crema.

The grind settings can be changed by adjusting a small wheel on the bean hopper. I’m quite tall so it's easy for me to see the setting as I adjust, but it could be problematic and more difficult to see the dial if you're a shorter person, or the machine is higher up.

Overall, I’m very impressed with this machine, I love the addition of the latte go function and the fact I get a delicious coffee in the comfort of my own home. I do find the machine quite noisy which is a bit of an issue for your neighbours when you’re an early morning riser like myself. However, if you’re after a high quality and fuss free machine then this is the one for you. Ever since it’s arrival there hasn’t been a day where I’ve not used it so it’s a yes from me.

Although the instruction booklet could be a little clearer, the machine was easy to set up and was up and running within 15 mins of arrival. You can choose to use either pre-ground or whole coffee beans and can customise your drinks by amending the strength and size of drink with your latest choices remembered for next time. This coffee machine is extremely easy to use with the clear display icons and single button drink options, produces an excellent coffee in under a minute and is exceptionally easy to clean / maintain due to a number of removable parts eg drip tray, used coffee reservoir & milk steamer. I find myself emptying the drip tray and used coffee reservoir often, however this is a minor inconvenience and is a consequence of keeping the machine as compact as possible. Overall a great looking, compact coffee machine which is easy to maintain and comes with some great features.

Unboxing it was quite unnerving as it is quite a big machine and I was worried about setting it up, after reading the instructions and following them the set up was simple and took only a few minutes. Using the machine is very straight forward and it allows you to make 2 cups at once, this is handy if you prefer a large mug as the biggest size for 1 is a cup size. I found using coffee beans easier then ground coffee and this also allows the machine to be more instant as you can load more beans but the grounds need to be added whenever you make a cup of coffee. The latte go cup is great and I love the cappuccino options, I just wish there was some measurements to help guide how much milk is needed as this would help with adding the correct amount of milk. The machine is simple to clean and most parts can be cleaned in the dishwasher. I have really enjoyed both the quality of coffee and the ease of maintaining the machine, by far the best coffee system I have used at home.
