Is the best product ever, în can see the result after 4 weeks, în was surprise I didn't have that much hair, for me philips lumea is the best ever

Wasn’t convinced that this IPL was going to work as I’d used a cheap one before but 3 weeks in and a lot of the hair has gone and the remaining is very thin. Very impressed with the Lumea 9900 IPL

Kuukauden käytössä ollut laite ei ole vähentänyt vielä juuri millään tavalla karvan kasvua tai hidastanut sitä. Hieman ehkä jostain ohentanut tai pehmentänyt karvoja. Innolla odottelen näkyvämpiä tuloksia. Parasta tähän mennessä on se että sisäänkasvaneita karvanäppyjä on huomattavasti vähemmän.

Everything is great about the product, except that no one told you not to use on tattooed skin. Be careful as it’s very painful

Overall the machine works and my results are as expected; a lot less hair growth. However, it’s hard to cover a larger area at a time because the device gets hot and the laser burns the skin a lot more and you actually feel a sharp sting. For example by the time I’ve done half of my stomach the device was already to hot to use.

Also, despite using the smallest attachment, fingers and toes are impossible to do. One thing I’d recommend with the purchase is glasses as the light is bright.

I think the device should come with eye protection. It makes my eyes hurt after a bit even though I look away whilst using it.

The skin AI feature isn’t functional on the app and customer care couldn’t sort it on the phone . The app just doesn’t recognise the serial number on my device.

I followed the schedule as instructed over the last few months and have had lots of hair regrowth.

I am so happy that I bought this product I had 4 treatments and all my hair is gone I’ve been using the clinic laser treatment for so long and it wasn’t useful at all but this is something over than special thank you for this

Oh my gosh I’m an Asian girl and Alhumdullilah my hairs haven’t grew this machine is so good.

I have used it for three sessions so far and definitely noticed a difference in hair growth. I am light brown with dark hair and it’s worked wonderfully. Note for this with Hirstuism (aka the lady beard) I haven’t noticed any change there yet but it is much more stubborn there.

I have used this as instructed every 2 weeks, I have continued to do that for 4 months now because my hair hasn’t been removed. I have very pale skin and dark hair, it should be ideal for me.

On my arms the hair has gone in patches, but still hairs there.

On my lower leg hasn’t worked at all. On my upper leg I now have darker and thicker hair than I ever even had there before, it’s caused more hair to grow??

My armpits have removed slightly in patches.

Hasn’t worked on upper lip area at all.

Over all, don’t waste your money.

Todella tyytyväinen. Ihan selkeä ero aiempaan, itsellä jo ekan-tokan käyttökerran jälkeen ja miten paljon lisännyt huolettomuutta. Sääriin nyt kolme kertaa, ei vielä ole tullut kokeiltua muille alueille. Ohessa harvakseltaan riittänyt hyvin kevyt siistiminen höylällä, jotta viimeinen silaus. Kannatti hankkia, olisi pitänyt hankkia jo aiemmin.

As a woman suffering with pcos and dense facial hair with great persistence this has changed my life and my confidence. I am so pleased with the results and change with my facial hair growth. I was apprehensive to let my husband spend a lot as I wasn’t sure it was going to work, but I cannot recommend this Ipl 8000 enough.

I was sceptical at first before buying this machine, as I’d heard people say that at home laser removal methods aren’t effective at all compared to salon laser hair removals. However I was left pleasantly surprised, as with only just 2 treatments hairs have disappeared completely in some areas and in others it has reduced the hair growth significantly. I’m certain that with the full, recommended initial 4 treatment phase the results will only become more impressive. Would absolutely recommend!

Has anyone tried it on a tattoo.I tried it as a trial on my hand, non tattoo area no pryat all, but the moment I tryit on the tasty I literally fried the thing and I have boils on only the tattoo area.

Having read such positive & encouraging reviews, I signed up to the Try & Buy scheme which made this a lot more affordable for me & WOW I’m so pleased I did! I’m dark haired, olive skin & have always been a bit obsessive about hair removal! During the summer/on holidays I would shave everyday just to keep my skin smooth & hair free. The Phillips Lumea IPL has been a complete game changer for me! It’s so easy to use & comes with 4 different attachments for different parts of the body. I always use it with the lead as I find it a little quicker than without. After just 3 treatments (1 every fortnight) my underarm hair was almost gone completely & I would say about 85% of my leg & bikini line leaving me with the smoothest feeling skin! I always use the Smartskin Sensor before each treatment & did notice after the first time that I had a bit of a skin rash/reaction which lasted a few days then disappeared. I had read that this is fairly common with IPL treatment so I wasn’t too concerned, however I went down an intensity the next time & after every use since then I apply aqueous calamine cream on the treated areas which has helped massively. I stuck to the schedule for the first 4 treatments as recommended & I’m over the moon to say the least! Theres lots of useful tips & advice on the app which I find has been invaluable to use as a treatment reminder, sending notifications to my phone. I only wish I’d got this sooner & can’t recommend it highly enough.

Had salon wax hair removal for many years, this product has either considerably slowed down hair growth is stopped it completely

Face attachment not easy to use on jaw line

I like the product, but have a problem with the different attachments for parts of the body. I have already sent one back & now I have a problem with my second one. The face attachment has cracked again.

Although easy to use in principle, I often find I can't get the ready light to show no matter what angle I try and find the unit is bulky and heavy after a while and takes much longer to do than suggested. You need a friend to help with areas like back of legs. Had very mixed results, some areas are almost hair free, whilst others have seen no difference in hair growth.

Phillips ILUMA helps with unwanted body hair. Recommend it for light skin and dark hair. It is really working!
