tämä ei ole aivan karmean näköinen vaan ihan tyylikäs, joskin hankalasti sijoitettava pyöreä pömpeli kuten muut vastaavat ilmanpuhdistimet. näitähän ei kuuluisi sijoittaa ihan seinään kiinni, joten sisustajan unelma tuote ei ole....

appi vaikuttaa hämmästyttävän vaivattomalta kun vertaa joidenkin kodinkonevalmistajien appeihin. voimakkaasta puhalluksesta lähes huomaamattomaan yömoodiin. kertoo ilmanlaadun tilan. toivon, että tämä todella tekee mitä lupaa, vaikuttaa aika hyvältä noin niin kuin paperilla.

It is very very efficient. It is excellent to have when you have a multi fuel fire and is sensitive to the atmosphere in the home.

Item stopped working after 3months due to faulty plug adapter .put in all relevant info on every place I could find but site did not recognise the information.Adapter very flimsy

Does what it says on the tin - very well too. Air quality is monitored automatically and the

1000i respond accordingly until back in the "blue".

Air quality varies greatly with cooking, central heating, wood fires, pets etc

It is unobtrusive, very quiet and the air filtered of everything to a fraction of a micron.

Before using the product, I didn't realize the air quality and dust index were high. Within 1 week we could make the difference. On checking filter, I could find particles captured. Using the vacuum cleaner, this could be easily cleaned. Some of the best feature of Philips Air purifier are 1. Improvement in the air quality 2. Night mode available for silent operation 3. Easy to clean the filter 4. Option to see air quality from mobile and control the device using the app 5. Removal of odour in the room due to cooking is very fast.

In the short time we've been using it, we have noticed a drastic improvement in air quality of our living space. Living on a busy main road we get horrendous fumes and dust coming into our living room every day. This undoubtedly has a detrimental effect on our health. The air purifier has therefore been a godsend! It's so reassuring knowing that the air we breathe in is now virtually free of pollutants, viruses and allergens.

There are 4 speed settings, including sleep mode which is extremely quiet and turbo mode when you need extra purification. However, the purifier automatically detects pollutants and chooses the right speed setting itself. At one point the display reading went up to 500 (the maximum) when we cooked a steak in our open plan living space and the purifier quickly brought it back down to 2.

We haven't had to change the filter yet, but it looks straightforward enough. When we removed the filter for vacuuming after a week's use, we were amazed at how much dust it had collected.

I particularly like the smart functionality which allows you to manage the air purifier from anywhere via the app and through Google Home and Alexa. We have had a few issues with the purifier losing wi-fi connection sporadically, but this is easily resolved by unplugging the purifier for 30 seconds. Hopefully this will be resolved with a software update.

Sleep mode - it is really quiet and can't tell that there's an air purifier working in the background. Glad to know you can sleep well and the purifier is doing its work.

Turbo mode - I use it after changing sofa covers and vacuuming.

Auto mode - I use it every day.

Pros:

I noticed though that it helped with my allergies. My sneezing has reduced a lot so I'd like to assume that the product really helps purify the air by removing the particles and dust in the air.

I was expecting the product to help reduce or eliminate pets' odors. It reduces a little bit maybe 3/10. I have 2 dogs, a large and fluffy and 1 medium so I don't really expect much. It would be nice if Philips will improve this area :)

The dust on surfaces reduce a little bit, I notice a little bit of improvement on that so I was happy.

Mobile app - I love this as it is easy to use. You will see the status of the filter as well so you would know when it is time to clean it.

Cons: It is the size. I didn't expect it to be that big but I expect it wouldn't work pretty good if it is a bit smaller maybe.

Overall, I am very pleased with the product and I would highly recommend it to my family and friends!

My apartment was getting dusty and my neighbour's smoke was infiltrating all my rooms. It purifies really well to clean the air quickly. I’m allergic to cats but this has really helped with the pet hair too. It was easy to set up. The sleep mode is super quiet. This was a great value for my money

We used the Purifier in the living room and bedroom and what a difference it has made. The app was easy to install and use and allowed me to control it on the move and change any settings depending on your house worries (I had mine set to dust) with the air quality index showing how much difference the Purifier made to each room after being on for only 10 minutes. I found It to be quiet and looks stylish in any room.

I would recommend this product to any family to give peace of mind about your household air quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I suffer from hay fever and also the effects of pet dander from my dog. I take over-the-counter allergy tablets but these don’t help much. I tried this air purifier and was sceptical at first but I am so happy with the results. My allergies are so much more manageable and as silly as it sounds, it has genuinely improved my life. The machine is easy to use with a very helpful manual. The product is large but not oversized and the design means it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb. It worked perfectly and took only minutes to set up. The best thing for me is that it is silent and doesn’t cause a racket whilst it is on. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who suffers with allergy problems.

However, everything was safely packed inside and easily removed without too much packaging to deal with. The product looked very clean, sleek, and tall, modern design. As this was my first product of this kind, I had no idea what to expect. I loved that I could set it through the app, which was a true game changer. All settings are handy. Auto, for those days when I don't want to worry if the air in the flat is purified or not. I mostly use it on silent mode which i really enjoy. The app was changed in the meantime providing an even better user experience. My partner is a fan of the manual mode, as he says that it is great to have an app as a backup but a controller set up for the purpose is always good too. Once the new app was in place the difference in how the product operated was substantial. I could physically see the difference cooking made to air quality and the family could feel the difference in the air in the house after the unit had been operating. Overall this is a product that I could recommend to others, it looks good and works great. I am still not in the position where I have to change the filter, but seeing the time when that will be needed in the app, leaves no surprises. So, yes, I would totally recommend this product to anyone especially since it doesn't use much energy to run.

(He had a asthma) Product is very easy to use, I have a philips application, when I'm outside I can easy turn on the product and purify the air, I can see on the app, allergens, PM in the room, when the condition on the air is getting worse I get the notification on the phone and I can change the speed to purify quicker! This product can purify the air in a 10 minutes! On the app I can see also when I need to clean the filters. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air Purifier has really impressed me. We have two big hairy dogs, two young children and we like to cook fragrant foods. I am really sensitive to smells and I hate the smell of dog and stale food smells when I wake up in the morning as they seemed to accumulate during the night. I placed the air Purifier on the landing outside my bedroom and it completely eradicated the offensive smells. This unit is light enough to move about if you want to put it in other rooms but being quite big it's not easy to find an inconspicuous place for it to live. It's very quiet, you only notice it when it goes into turbo mode if it's detected a pollutant. The night mode is particularly unobtrusive. The sensor is so sensitive and quick that the Purifier detected pollutants as I walked past after using spray paints outside. I think I would prefer if it came in other colours, like a natural wood effect as it's big plastic body doesn't fit in with the rest of my home. It was packaged in a lot of plastic too, I would prefer cardboard to be used to ship. That way I can recycle or reuse it. The app interface wasn't the most intuitive to use when I first started using it, but the recent updates have made its functionality much better. The app allows me to set up routines such as automatic mode during the day and sleep mode at night. As well as turn it off or on remotely which is handy should I forget to turn it off before I go away.

This air purifier has been a life saver, as a suffer of hay-fever I have been on the look out for a air purifier that can punch it’s weight when it comes to pollen. Well this one certainly does just that. I noticed a massive difference these past weeks and now my living room is like my pollen safe bubble.

The device itself looks sleek and modern with the grill design being my favourite feature as it does not look boring.

In terms of functionality it does exactly what it says on the tin with plenty of functionality on the app making it a breeze to use via it. I would say that the controls on the device itself took some time to get use to as it’s difficult to tell what’s a button on what’s not but after that it was a breeze. Connecting to the app was also super easy. In terms of noise it is not noticeable at all on the lower settings and not that audible on the turbo mode.

Overall I am very pleased with it and it’s a great little device. My only criticisms would be the controls on top getting some used to and the time it takes from selecting something on the app to it actually happening.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having this air purifier has helped me no end, due to having asthma, I often find stuffy, dusty or smelly rooms very hard to deal with, having the 1000i has meant that the air is much cleaner, especially whilst I’ve been moving house and plenty of dust has been lifted up because of this, the air purifier meant it was much easier for me to do more as my lungs were performing better and I didn’t have to break as much from the dust. It was also interesting having the display and app which told me the level of the air, interesting to see what my room is like after the air purifier is turned off and how much my breathing improves.

Firstly, it was very easy to set up. The manual provided was simple, concise and easy to follow. I had the whole thing set up in under 3 minutes.

The first thing I noticed about the item was how quiet it is. My household includes tho use who are sensitive to audio over stimulation (adhd and autism), and I was initially worried about the product being too loud for them to have in open communal spaces. However, this item has a low volume and genital hum that it doesn’t negatively impact them.

The air purification is great as well. Again, having never used a product like this before, I did not expect such an immediate result. Our living space (where the unit is) feels clearer and lighter since using this. We also have cats and I didn’t realise how much we were impacted by cat fur and general animal smell, until the purifier cleansed the air.

We have noticed a drop in sinus issues from dust and animal fur. This is definitely an effective product and perfect for a busy and neurodivergent household.

Its very simple and easy to use and connects to your phone which is even better. There are 3 modes to chose from depending on how congested your room air is, the higher the mode the quicker it removes the the nasties from the air. Its silent so can be used overnight without disruption which is perfect for us having a baby. I have noticed a dramatic difference in my breathing and asthma since using this, I have hardly needed my inhaler as the air seems to be cool and clean, it's hard to explain to feeling of the air apart from clean and alot more breathable. I can imagine this being excellent during summer and high pollen. It's very stylish to look at too which surprised me as many large machines can be quite an eyesore. There is nothing I would change about it as I honestly think it is fantastic, even better its very cheap to run with these crazy energy prices :)
