Impossible to setup Apple Watch family for kidsArvosana 1/5
We bought this watch thinking we could setup the watch using Apple Watch Family (we read the information from Apple in their Finnish website). This approach supposedly allows you to setup the Apple Watch without its own iPhone. It turns out that in some well hidden part of the Apple website, Apple Watch Family is not available in Finland. Why is there not a warning in the Finnish pages describing this service? I do not know. We contacted apple, and the only way to set up the watch is having a dedicated iPhone (which costs money). But not just any iPhone, it has to have iOS 17 or later, making my old iPhone useless for this. Overall, a terrible experience, misleading information on their website, hidden and difficult to navigate terms and conditions.
