So far have only used this to iron formal shirts and trousers and this does a perfect job, by perfect I mean not one single crease remains. My last iron was a similar price but always left creases and once actually melted one of the shirts (was not very happy). The iron itself has lots of various functions from heat settings to variable steam to make sure that the clothes come out amazing. Even where full of water the iron is easy to hold and move as it effortlessly glides across clothes.

After many years of using a Philips steam generator iron which I did not need any more I decided to replace it with another Philips iron. A good test for my new iron was using it on some antique pillow cases and this iron performed extremely well without having to use the steam function. Over all I am very impressed and would certainly recommend this iron or any other Philips iron (they are work horses).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love love love this iron! It’s got some weight in it but not too heavy it hurts your arm so is perfect to get those creases out the clothes. It’s so easy to use and love the steam function to tackle those stubborn creases. It’s has a great look to it and love the colours! Would give this iron 10/10!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ironing can be a pain, especially when it comes to hard and thick fabrics, but this Philipps steam iron does its job, and properly done. I don't need to pass over the same area twice and the steam function makes things easier and clothing neater. It might be an extra thought that has nothing to do with more important specifics but this blue shade is absolutely lovely!

It is so simple to use, very easy to fill up the water tank and heats up within seconds, so you can start ironing straight away. What I also like about the tank is that it is clear so I can notice when it is running low on water so that I can top it up. This is very helpful for me as I like to always use the steam mode when I iron.

The iron itself is very light, even when filled up with water, it glides so easily and I can quickly iron my clothes in half the time as just one glide and the fabric is ironed so I do not have to keep repeating on the same spot of material to get the creases out. Even with the heavy creased linen fabric it irons it quickly.

The cord is the right size for me personally as too long cords tend to get tangled.

I am very happy with this iron and I look forward to ironing all our clothes with ease.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ironing is my nemesis. Yet with this iron I have actually enjoyed it. Ironing was fast and easy. Heat up time is fast. It's not too heavy and it glides lovely over the clothes. It flatten creases fast and with no much problem.

It glides smoothly over all types of fabric and the heat settings are clear and easy to adjust with a dial. The weight of the iron is just right, heavy enough to be effective but not so much so that it’s uncomfortable to iron a large load. In terms of appearance, it also looks very sleek and modern. Overall I have been very happy with how it performs, despite not being a natural when it comes to ironing!

The functions were all easy to use and instructions were clear on how to use it. Using it on shirts I only needed to go over the creases once instead of back and forth!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this 7000 series iron from Philips aroumd 2 weeks ago and I have been using it every day almost since then. Is little more than other normal irons but does an amazing job. Has many functions and works amazing and in no time i managed to iron many clothes and shirts. I like the blue colour and I find it easy even to take it with me while travelling because of the small size.
