It is heavier for its size. I feel confident that it will keep the drive cool. The rubber seal inside is awesome as it will keep the ssd dust free and protect from water. The enclosure doesn't have a fan cooling system. However, the material it is made of and the included thermal pad keeps the ssd cool during its use. I'd highly recommend it. I found it a cheap and high quality option available in the market. In my honest opinion, no other seller has such a value offer.
