Put on some LoTR music and pull up your sleeves! The Rivendell Lego set really holds all it's promises. Everything is wrapped safely in 50 small satchels and it comes with 3 instruction manuals, as you will build it in 3 bigger parts.
The instructions are really easy to follow, just be prepared to spend probably several weeks on this project! They have small comments about why they made certain design choices and you get to know about the design team as well. No Lego blocks were missing - quite the opposite, I had several leftovers!
The fellowship characters will come over time as you go along with the building journey.
I also found out later that there is a special lighting-set you can buy additionally if you want to light your set up in the dark. It's really beautiful and I went down nostalgia lane all the way! Below is a work-in-progress picture. Have fun!
