The LG Fridge/Freezer, although on the expensive side, is really well built and presented, its compressor is guaranteed for 20 years. I wondered at the Glass door before buying, and it has proved so useful, As I keep mostly dairy products in its trays as these are the most used items in the fridge, you can see what you want and instantly how much you have in case you need to do shopping. If you are shopping and buy a lot of freezer items, you can use your mobile to link with the freezer to turn fast freeze on so that the freezer is super cool when you get home. The Outside is resistant to finger prints and the very occasional wipe with a damp cloth is all you need. In the fridge the glass shelves are great and on a really strong metal runner system so you can alter the high so easily. I previously had a Stainless steel Maytag, and although had it for many years and was really pleased with it, the ice dispenser kept going wrong and them failed, plus the shelves inside broke as they were plastic, I wanted the good points of my Maytag plus rally strong shelves, which LG have given me with this American Type Fridge Freezer, I do find that Fresh produce doesn't go off as quickly as well as it seems to keep the inside at a very stable temperature and circulates the air within through a carbon filter to keep it super fresh. The internal water filter is good for removing taints to the taste of the water but doesn't remove limescale like nearly all other Fridges with Icemaking chilled water dispensers , so I would recommend fitting an external filter to remove limescale, I used an additional connection to my Brita filtered tap. So far I have no concerns about the purchase, it you do decide to buy make sure it fits through your external doors (The doors do remove to reduce the size).

Fab machine. Really can’t fault it apart from one annoying issue. The label on the front has started to peel off and AO don’t seem to be interested in fixing it..

Great product would recommend. would have had 5 stars apart the fridge doors can be noisy in certain closing scenarios

I bought this 2 months ago and it's very well functioned and all my family member enjoy with new fridge

It's a great fridge freezer, with solid interior shelving, but because of that it is heavy... Like 215kg heavy. Our first delivery attempt was a joke, with laurel and Hardy refusing to lift it off the back of their lorry. Only issue once in position is the doors clash. Their is a flap that is supposed to flick back but only does so half the time. Auto open clashes and shuts itself. No real way to adjust doors.

Within a month of usage. The freezer totally stopped working. All the food became defrosted so had to be binned. LG customer service : sent an engineer out, wasn’t able to fix, means will take another month for it to be fixed as the part is not currently available. The smart diagnosis a feature which can be run from your mobile, doesn’t work either just a gimmick. Paid nearly 2k for this, never have I experienced anything like it.
