Erittäin hyvä paketti, kannatti ostaa. Tv:n kuvanlaatu tosi hyvä ja 120 hz virkistystaajuus parantaa katselukokemusta. Kaiuttimessa tosi hyvä basso ja äänentoisto.

Vanhan ja hajonneen ambilight tv:n tilalle ostettu. Tosi hyvä hinta/laatu suhde tarjouksesta ostettuna ja 120 Hz virkistystaajuus parantaa katselukokemusta paljon. Ambilight-valot tosi mukavat illalla, joten ei tule enää muun merkkistä tv:tä ostettua. Sovelluksia löytyy tarpeeksi ja käyttöliittymä toiminut hyvin.

The visual experience offered by the 55PML9008 is impressive. Despite its smart TV branding, this model falls short in flexibility and convenience, with a poor selection of apps beyond the usual well-known ones and notably lacking the ability to directly download and install apps.

This TV is superb to avoid any of the os problems get a firestick 4k max it's lightening quick and has access to every app that's worth mentioning these days . The TV simply ooozes quality and I cant recommend highly enough

Lovely picture and ambilight but the interface is so poor. No disney plus so have had to buy a fire stick. So many apps that nobody has ever used or heard of. Had a Philips before which had a much better interface

Needs some tweaks in the air server/screen mirroring. I cannot connect my new iPhone to the tv. I have to play around with the picture when it comes to different apps, games and TV. Controller basic. But overall amazing quality lights are vibrant and make an awesome movie night. Games work great too. 100% recommendation. High definition all round.

Sovelluksista puuttuu esim HBO ja Disney +, ei tullut uusimman päivityksenkään mukana mahdollisuutta ladata ko sovelluksia. Casting ominaisuus toimi aluksi hbo/disney+, mutta päivityksen jälkeen ei enää toiminut. Ostin kaveriksi google tv 4K jotta saa nuo sovellukset näkymään. Google tv:n kanssa kuva pätkii ja pakkaantuu nopeissa liikkeissä, voi olla google tv:n ongelma.

Lisäksi taustavalon vuotoa on havaittavissa ainakin tässä kappaleessa oikeassa alareunassa, näkyy hyvin mustaa taustaa vasten. Ilmeisesti tuo on näiden miniled telkkareiden piirre.

Äänen laatu on hyvä.

Purchased in Oct 2023. From brand new this Tv took and hour and 2 factory resets before it would even pick up Freeview channels (UK). It crashed constantly. The WiFi on so slow and from 2010, so useless for even software updates, wired is the only way to get this working well. By far the worst OS i've seen on a tv. Have come from Samsung TV's, which I grew to hate as they never had a good OS, but this takes it to a new level.

It's had 3 or 4 software update since and is still full of bugs (March 2024). It will need unplugging at least twice a week due to Apps crashing upon opening or OS just locking up. (Philips FAQ says don't press too many button after each other. That wasn't a

acceptable in 2010!)

No way to install or remove apps.

I have a Chromecast with Google TV, if it switch to it's HDMI input, it will actually display 1 in 10 times, the other 9 times i will get a variety of colours or 1/4 of the actual image.

Honestly the screen on this TV is great and Ambilight is awesome but the OS lets it down so much. If they did a dumb model I would have purchased that.

I gave this five stars for the the picture quality and sound quality and the ability to download many apps to it. I watch movies from an external source input and so far the picture quality across HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby have been good. Little tweaky here and there with each film in relationship to picture size, but other than that, fantastic clear, crisp pictures.

Audio from the TV through inbuilt speakers is good quality.

There are many apps onboard,it takes a bit of time to learn what they provide Netflix, Disney etc are loaded, only needing a subscription. The ambilight is great, we use Sport mode quite ofte, and turn off the room lights, it's the best option to actually being at the game.Movies come alive, the screen seems to be much bigger, and definately provides more atmosphere.

A fantastic addition to a home.

Upon unpacking the new TV I was impressed with the stern build of the set with a metal frame and overall packaged securely and well.

Sadly upon turning on the set, as you can see with my image the screen bleed on this mini LED set is horrible and clearly visible when watching movies with borders.

When the TV has images displayed the clarify and depth of color is OLED standard so that's the TV's saving grace along with the Ambilight feature which was the main reason for me buying this set.

I've always bought LG and now having a Phillips I do feel there's a drastic difference in operating systems as the Phillips is really clunky and it does sometimes have issues when turning back on from stand-by whereby I have to unplug the device from power so that it reboots.

On the store website or states that there's Apple TV and Disney TV support....... this is not the case.

Remote control looks and feels horrible in comparison to my previous TV's.

Overall, unbelievable image but too many negatives for such an expensive set.

I gave this a five star rating as I'm more concerned with the picture quality and sound quality rather than what app i can get on it. I watch movies from an external source input and so far the picture quality across HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby have been great! Sound is via my home cinema so no issues there. However having listened to the TV with the inbuilt speakers good quality and clear sound.

In relationship to the apps etc, you buy a TV to watch movies/ TV not what apps you can get. Disney+ and all the rest are there if you want them.

Gaming is via an Xbox, and I found some lag on FPS. This was easily solved by turning off the VRR on the Xbox and letting the the in built game mode handle the rest.

The ambilight is brilliant when combined with movies, and eases eye strain from around the picture. Excellent feature.

All in all a fantastic set-up if you want a good picture and good sound.

As above disney plus did not work until I reset everything loosing my personal settings log in etc

Ambilight it is great innovation works superb! but very slow remote response and none of the option works for screenshare/ mirroring from phone or iPad.

I'm happy with the ambilight feature as well as the picture quality and other functions and features. However, I'm a bit not happy that the TV remote does not have repeat feature for YouTube etc especially if you want to play music.

The picture is great and we are really happy with yhe sound. The navigation is easy for my parents and kids which is unusual. I would buy again.

The picture is great after tweaking, and looks fantastic. However like others mentioned the OS and apps are poor, and ideally need a software update ASAP. This means your best bet it to simply get an external streaming device such as a Roku or Fire Stick

However my major gripe is the gaming, specifically with an Xbox series x. I brought this mainly for its 120hz 4K gaming, however since the last software update the TV won't play HDR games at 120hz without going bright pink. Microsoft says it's Philips software that's the issue and I believe them, as it worked fine with it's basic OOB software it came with. It can be worked around by disabling HDR10 in the Xbox settings, but the TV should handle this!

I have acquired this TV and I think in general is amazing. Great image and sound (and as a musician I tend to be extremely picky with the sound quality). The leds in the back look amazing. I think the TV is easy to use and to set up. There are a lot of options and possible configurations. However, there's something I consider important and it is missing, which I find disappointing, especially nowadays. There is no app for the Disney+ and there is no app store to download and install this and / or other apps. This for me was a disappointing surprise as it seems this is the only TV that does not have these (or at least I was not able to find these). Hope this will get fixed very quickly and an update is made available. In my humble opinion, with this issue fixed I think this would be a great equipment and I'd definitely give it a 5 star rating.

Purchased this product as was very excited about the mini LED aspects of the TV but wouldn't recommend it at all. The TV itself is fine but the base software IS NOT ANDROID. Phillips have added their own software to the TV and therefore you're unable to use simple things such as Apple TV +, Disney +, etc - further to the above, the phillips Smart OS (not so smart, I'm afraid) is extremely slow in comparison to a TV running android, like our older phillips tv.

Buzzing with my first Ambilight TV! The Ambilight feature brings a new level of experience to movies. Stunning picture quality and sleek design truly enhance my viewing experience. Highly recommend for a superior home theater experience!

I have had this TV now for approx 3 weeks and absolutely love it. The picture quality is amazing on HD and 4K but can't comment on SD as simply don't watch programmes in this format. I always thought that the AmbiLight feature was a gimmick on Philip's sets, but I have now changed my mind - the feature is totally immersive and adds a whole new element to movies and other programmes. The actual TV appears to be a very high end product and build quality is superb. I can't comment on the sound quality as I have it connected to an A/V amp set up. Overall I am really impressed with the TV and don't regret not opting for a Samsung/LG/Sony. Hopefully I won't regret this in the future.

My last philips tv had android tv and I had zero problems with the os, now they are using their in house os which is freaking useless. The TV itself has fantastic picture but it's only worth buying as a dumb tv for an external smart device.

Excellent picture, so easy to set up. I had no trouble with the OS. Quality build as well.
