I was very disappointed to find that Philips, a company which I have had brand loyalty and trust in, would play a petty marketing trick with this set.

Deciding to brand it as Series 9000, to give buyers the impression they are buying the better quality Series 9000 trimmer, but providing the inferior Series 7000 MG7745 is just very sneaky and I expected better. Is the extra appeal and money earned worth the loss in trust in your brand?

Literally nowhere on your product description pages do you specify which trimmer model comes in the set, so that buyers can make an informed decision.

The only place I found it was deep inside your support site, within the UK Declaration of Conformity certificate, that MG9720 = MG7745 (trimmer) + QP2530-Z (OneBlade).

Again, expected better.

Stopped turning on and charging after half a year of work. It seems that water got in. Photo of what I saw inside is attached.

Before the breakdown I was happy with it

The product is very good as a beard trimmer / eyebrows / nose & ear / body hair but, it’s not a good head hair trimmer. I have my hair very short and there is an adjustable head with various settings but it is way too small and you need to hold the trimmer and guard at an odd angle to make it work properly. Took an age to cut my hair myself and even then, had to ask my wife to get all the bits I’d missed.

I had this for about 8 months, then it started to randomly turn itself on and now it doesn’t power on or charge. waste of money.

Good battery life. The trimmer was reasonable in performance.

This is now the second Phillips multi groom after the battery on my original died. The only irritating complaint I have with the new one is the position of the on off switch which is positioned on the ergonomic part of the trimmer that you would hold. Every time I use it I manage to switch it off at least three times!

The product works well for my needs, however I think with the number of attachments the carry case could be better so that you could arrange sections for each operation

It gives a very clean and even shave and with the one blade, you get that advanced precision. Very good to use in the shower as shaves very cleanly even when wet. The multiple attachments give plenty of options, and allows for accurate cutting to the required length. The bag that the shaver comes with is very good quality and allows space for all attachments. Would highly recommend and is a must for anyone wanting accurate and precise shaving

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've wanted a beard for a while but I've not done anything about it as I never knew where to start. I am autistic so my approach is unconventional at best but I managed a tidy beard (a la Noel Edmonds) even If I do say so myself.

Then I was asked to test this fantastic bit of kit. When it arrived I was like a kid at xmas, took everything out and had a good gander at the instructions. You can trim, shave, shape literally every hair on your body with this thing. It was seperate attachments for eyebrows for gods sake, how cool is that? The nose trimmer is a revelation for me as I have more nasal hairs than most but this little beauty sorted them out no problem.

The thing I was most surprised about was the fact that you also get a Philips One Blade! I've always wanted to try these out and they're brilliant. I hate manual razors so this was a godsend as I'd only been using clippers previously and a razor to trim away hair on my cheeks. I use the one blade instead of a razor and I will never go back.

Overall this is an excellent product and with the one blade included this is an absolute no brainer, you get literally anything you could need for trimming the verge so to speak.

I highly recommend this product, get this and you won't need anything else I promise you that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Philips Series 9000 trimmer is great and can be used on beard, body, and even nose and ear hair. It comes with a lot of accessories. There are several cutting heights and you can range from 0.2 mm to 20 mm.

There is also a more classic razor that cuts hair completely.

The main unit has a good grip. The various accessories are easy to install on the unit. Using the unit is very easy, as there is only one button. There is an internal battery that allows it to be used for about 2 hours.

I think this Philips Series 9000 trimmer is very practical because it can be used on any part of the body.

Overall excellent product from Philips and would wholeheartedly recommend it.

I ran an extension lead into the bathroom to sort out my hair and beard, something that I was not exactly comfortable about. Bathrooms and extension leads are not a good combination.Eventually I found this All-in-One Trimmer that cut my hair brilliantly and were cordless. The clippers are just what I was looking for. They dealt with my beard with ease. Several attachments for you're body, hair and face makes everything simple. The fact it comes with the One Blade makes things even better. It cuts through hair with ease not leaving any knicks or cuts and the battery lasted almost 2 hours so it will last through several sessions without a problem. The carry bag is a great way to carry both shavers and their attachments and overall it's one of the best shavers I've used.

To start with the packaging is brilliant, it is set out in a way you can keep the packaging to use to organise the different grades. They are split into beard/ head hair , body, eyebrows/nose.

The one blade is also very good small and compact which gives an extremely close shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start with, the attachments?! 1-20mm attachments, nose, body 3 & 5mm, eyebrow and separate OneBlade! No matter what length you want, this can cut it. All of the smaller attachments are embossed with the body area + length too so there's no confusion or accidents! Onto the actual trimmer. It's extremely quiet, one of the quietest trimmers I've ever used. It feels premium and heavy in the hand as opposed to lightweight/cheap/plastic. Fantastic power, particularly with the nose hair trimmer as these can often be lacking and end up pulling the hair instead of trimming it. Very quick charge time, yet to use a full charge but I would imagine it lasts for a reasonable time. The fact it's USB chargeable is a huge win. No more hunting for a shaver socket or using an adapter. Simple plug it into any usb port/plug and away you go. The only downside I can think is the travel case. It seems a little light/flimsy for the weight of the shaver + attachments, a hard travel case may have been better but am aware this would increase travel weight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the fact this trimmer is waterproof where my previous trimmer was not and eventually packed in from water damage (literally rinsing). This trimmer has all the required heads from body trimming to several guards for the face, I love the guard that allows increments from 1mm to 3mm in small jumps to get the perfect length. The bag could be bigger to keep all over the heads in, or maybe a little case with compartments in. However the trimmer is brilliant. The extra close shaving wand is also a bonus.
