I've tried various shavers. But this Philishave is excellent. It gives me a clean shave very time and easy to keep clean. Brilliant product

Excellent shaver. I have only one criticism to make - the "Pressure guide" feature in the GroomTribe app is only a gimmick. If you try to maintain the guage in the green zone, you *will* suffer razor burn, so much so that it will make you instantly regret the move from traditional wet shaving to electric rotary.

Just simply the best shave, overall a brilliant shaver

This is by far the best electric shaver I have ever purchased,and used.

It is great for a really nice close shave, as long as you know how to use an electric shaver (surprising how many men don't!).

I have a very thick stubble and this unit is quite able to cope with a 4day growth if I have a nice wet shave with it.

Have still not been able to manage to shave within the 3 minutes it says it should be able to do. Not bothered about that though.

As soon as I'm done then it goes in for a clean, which is very refreshing for the next day.

I would certainly recommend this product for a middle aged gentleman or a younger gentleman just starting out.

Siirryin Braunista Philipsiin ja luultavasti pysyn Philipsissä. Laadukas laite ja yhdistettynä puhdistusasemaan ja puhdistuskapselien käyttöön tekee päivittäisestä ajosta oikein mielekästä. Voin suositella! Äppi on ok, mutta ei ole alun jälkeen tullut käytettyä. Sen verran harjaantunut ajelija olen jo ennestään...

Not as good as I thought it would be,for the price,really disappointed.I have to finish shaving with a disposable razor.

Very easy close shave. It's best not to let the hairs get too long as the shave obviously takes longer then. Sometimes have to work the blades more if there is a stubborn hair or two. But on the whole much more convenient than a wet shave. The travel case is really useful, strong and compact

It's great , fantastic would recommend to anyone ( male obviously).

Brilliant shaver. Thought it was gimmicky at first. However using the Blue/Green/Amber lights whilst shaving in a mirror gives a perfect result. I did not realise that with my old model i was pressing too hard.

Using the app every now and again helps with your consistency of shave.

It’s ok but not worth the price tag over the lesser models, yes it has nice gimmicks but the quality orbs have is no better

Best shave from Philips, ever BUT the head keeps on unlatching despite two replacements. I shall probably ask for my money back.

Been a single blade wet shaver for years but have had to go to electric for a while due to anti coagulant medication.

IMHO you're never going to get as close as a three pass wet shave with an electric for the simple reason the blades aren't in contact with the skin. Having said that, this is very close and gives no dry flaky skin like foil types I've tried on occasion.

I use it with some kind of product on my face, I've tried creams, proper shaving soap lathered in a bowl with a brush and even a 50/50 mix of organic almond oil and castor oil. In my experience it works much better wet than dry, an occasional dip in water gives it a glide boost, (I should register that as a trademark lol).

There are areas I haven't mastered yet like the underside of the jaw bone and around the Adam's Apple but I very carefully go over these areas with my double edge single blade safety razor obviously not wanting to nick myself.

Cleaning pod is good but it's pretty quick flipping the top and running under the tap too.

Well worth a try and for me, I can still get my wet shave ritual with the sink of water and post shave alum block etc.

Best shave ever. Only issue I have is the instructions are not very clear in how the small display works and how to start the cleaning process. I assume that using diagrams only in the instructions is to save money when selling to many countries. But this does not help me as i need to wear glasses to see what the display is indicating. These issues my only apply to me but better clarity in the instructions would help.

I broke with the traditional Philips razor and tried this totally different razor to what I was use to. Know need to have worried, it's brilliant.

Having used a wet shave for several years, I have been very pleasantly surprised as how good a shaver this is.

It gives a very close shave every time....just as good as a wet shave.

I would recommend it to anyone.

Very close and comfortable shave, and a more powerful battery means it is also a lot quicker on the job.

This has changed my view of electric shavers. Previously I regarded an electric shaver as ‘second best’ with regard to performance and only used one while travelling. My new Philips shaver shaves so close that it is a good alternative to wet shaving. However I am still struggling to understand how to use the cleaning gadget.

Laite on iso pettymys, muutaman päivän sänki ja kone "taistelee" urhoollisesti, mutta tuntuu lähinnä nyhtämiseltä. Rajain, joka on integroitu koneeseen, ei pysy leikkaavassa asennossa, koska se ei lukitu yläasentoon minkä lisäksi terä on a. pieni ja b. leikkaa huonosti.

Philips mahdollistaa "money back guarantee" palautuksen, jos palautat koneen itse pakattuna (jos säilytät pahvilaatikon), ja lähetysohjeet ovat hyvin tarkat - poikkeaminen millimetrinkään verran niistä johtaa, ettei sinulla ole konetta eikä rahoja ole palautettu. Nyt on aika heittää keräykseen tuo 9000 ja hakea Braun tilalle.

Olen koko aikuisikäni käyttänyt partahöyliä. Aikoinaan kokeilin halpoja sähköpartakoneita, mutta ne jäivät hyllyyn pölyttymään. Ajotulos oli höylään verrattuna huono ja iho ärsyyntyi. Nyt ajattelin panostaa laatuun ja en ole katunut. Ajotulos on erinomainen, eikä iho ärsyynny. Voit ajella vaahdon kanssa tai kuivana ja koneen saa puhdistettua asemassa helposti. Jos on kiinnostunut käyttämään applikaatiota, voi kokeilla ohjattua parranajoa. Applikaatio kertoo onko terä sopivasti painettuna ja onko tehty pyörivää liikettä. Hinta on suhteellisen korkea, mutta niin on myös laatu.
