[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lenovo Legion R27fc-30 boasts a 27-inch display with a 3-side NearEdgeless design using VA panel technology. It features WLED backlighting and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The typical brightness level is 350 cd/m², and it has a contrast ratio of 3000:1, with horizontal and vertical angles of 178 degrees.
When it comes to response time, it offers a Moving Picture Response Time (MPRT) of 0.5 ms. It boasts a high refresh rate of 240Hz, which can be overclocked to 280Hz, although this feature should be used with caution as it may affect display performance irregularly.
In terms of color, the monitor offers good coverage, with a 99% sRGB coverage ratio and a 90% DCI-P3 coverage ratio. The color area ratio is 125% sRGB, and it supports 16.7 million colors with an 8-bit color depth. The screen surface is treated to be anti-glare, reducing reflections.
I was looking for an inexpensive 27 inch curved monitor for business, work and general entertainment use. The monitor has integrated speakers delivering adequate power for basic audio listening. It can lift to 5 inches, tilt between -5 and 22 degrees, pivot 90 degrees each way, and swivel 30 degrees. Screen resolution is 1920x1080and the specifications say it has a 280Hz refresh rate and 0.5ms response time. I was impressed with the color/ brightness/ contrast for a monitor in this low price range. It supports use for gaming consoles and is NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync compatible. It is the perfect size for my crowded workspace.
