Positives:

Makes glass washing an easy task
Does streak free cleaning, provided you know the trick

Negatives:

First few times, it might be tougher to get steak free cleans. Basically over needs to know the trick of doing it right.
It is recommended to clean only vertical direction i.e. from top to bottom, which makes it very difficult to clean the bottom most part
Sometimes it requires one extra step of manual wiping with dry micro fibre cloth to get the best look
