Stainless flavorizer bars to replace original, correct size for Genesis II 340

Love the grill, but the stainless steel flavor bars are pretty terrible since they rust out quickly and have to be replaced every year. Weber should make a porcelain coated version that lasts longer for the new Genesis grills.

It's hard getting replacement parts for anything in Hawai'i, but Weber had these to my doorstep within a week. Immediately returned my grill to peak performance.

These flavorizer bars - I call them burner covers - are terrible quality stainless steel for the newer Genesis grills. They do not hold up long at all. What I’m confused about is this particular part number is not sold at Hardware stores. Have to get online best I can tell, and do not come in the fancy red/black Weber boxes, makes me wonder what the deal is with them. They have no porcelain enamel coating that some of the other bar sets have. Bare, cheap quality stainless. In 6 months my 3 bars that went directly over the burners were rusty and used up. They fit that’s about the only positive. I’m going to fab up my own since I have access to such material. A lot of people don’t have access to such resources. Hopeful that Weber will offer these bars to the same standards that some of the other sets have. Perhaps with the coatings.

I've had my Weber for eight seasons now and use it all year round. I cook a lot of spatch cocked whole chickens and grease flareups require some water dousing in the first 10 minutes of cooking. This does take its toll on the flavorizer bars and their life. Otherwise, no issues and regardless, a recommended component of the grill.

Excellent service. The right item at the right price

The original Flavorizer bars lasted 5 years. They were replaced by knockoffs that actually cost more and only lasted 3 years. Going back to Weber.

Not enough Bars. There were 5 included but I had 7 in my grill. I ordered it based on the part number and S/N from my grill. Something is off.

After we received the flavor bars, my husband could not wait to put them on the grill. I was surprised. My husband also has taken the bars out of the grill and cleaned them. I'm happy that he is happy with the product. I am so glad that I ordered them for him.

I’ve had my Genesis grill for seven years and replaced the flavorizor bars because they were getting hard to clean. Was happy to see that the replacement bars appear to be of a different metal and easier to keep clean

Right ones. But it took some research to find the right size after discovering that Genesis and Genesis II aren't the same and having to return the first batch.

New flavor bars fit perfect and easy to install. It’s cooking nice and even again!

Ordered for my model, the items were too long for my grill. I had to cut and grind to make them fit.

Nothing fancy or hard about replacing the bars; simply remove the old ones and put the new ones in in exactly the same place.

The new bars glow red and cook evenly. Much improved from the old ones.

They don't fit the way the originals did. They are supposed to be for the same model.

These did not fit my Weber Genesis grill, as advertised. About half an inch too short.

So nice having new flavorizer bars, they others were well used and falling apart.

The flavorizer bars are well made and since they are stainless steel, they should last much longer than the original porcelain coated steel bars. I should have ordered them sooner!

Once I could figure out what model I needed it was simple and the grill is performing better. Weber might not want to continually change these and make them more uniform.
