I have never had a oneblade before. The first time I used mine I fell in love with it. I would recommend one to anyone.

When he started it , it made a buzzing sound , a nice gentle sound so it was more soothing than scary . Once he started shaving he was totally at ease and wasn’t worried about cutting himself . It worked really quickly and he didn’t have to go over the same points. All the hairs came off nice and smooth ! Now he skin feels soft and he says he would feel confident doing it again !

It’s easy to use, the battery lasts well and it gives a close shave without irritation. The razor head is small enough to be able to style facial hair and to closely follow the contours of the face.

It’s absolutely a product I would recommend to anyone looking for their first electric razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression when I got it, was this is really compact and light, I'm used with my Wahl, it has 5 heads, I normally use one head for the first trim, and a second for make it tight, but with the Philips I don't need, I could do all with just one and it shaves much closer, it is the perfect combination of a trimmer and a hand shaver, specially if you use a form to do the second part, I loved, specially for travelling.

The battery works for 2 to 3 shave and charges in about a hour, the head last for about 4 months, but I have the impression it last longer use I shave just once a week.

Overall it is an amazing shaver.

His first impressions of the shaver is that it looked stylish,sleek and felt very lightweight to hold in your hand and easy to use. The shaver can be used on wet or dry skin and no need for shaving foam but the first time he used it,he used shaving foam just incase it nicked his face or pulled at his skin,he has since used it a further 4 times without shaving foam and works exactly the same,delivering a close clean shave every time! The shaver is durable,quiet and efficient aswell as being very easy to use and the battery lasts around 30 minutes before needing charging.

After using the shaver he said"its good but not as close as what he wanted" it got rid of most of the hair but found he needed to use manual razor to get the little bits.But the shaver is stylist and compact and easy to.pack away. Its a rechargeable so even better. No batteries is a plus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 15 year old son has been using the Philips one blade first shave for just under 2 weeks and as this is his first time shaving, due to the hair still being quite fine in places. This product was ideal for him. It was easy for him to use as it was quite light and slender which made it easy to grip when wet. He did try dry shaving but found it a bit uncomfortable as it didnt glide over his skin as easy. so, prefers to do a wet shave which makes the design ideal.

With it being his first shave i was worried about cuts or shavers rash with his skin being sensitive and quite blemished but the razor actual glide with ease over his skin and left no rash or cuts and left his skin feeling smooth.

On the packaging It states that the blade should last 4 months and so far as he isn't needing to use it for full shaves the blade is still sharp and not pulling at the hair and it's still delicate on his skin and with the plate being bladeless it is ideal.

As for Battery life again this is decent as it lasts just under 2 days but again he isn't using it everyday at the moment, so the battery life will probably reduce quicker as he starts using it more.
