However, these Disney themes arrtwork & characters are too great to enjoy. This game connects my family members & a great time to spend with each other. Though the core rules are simple, it took much time for me to understand card interactions & complex returns.

It's nice that the girls feel like they have their own card trading game and can be involved and have fun. (Even when I was growing up, there was oddly a stigma around TCGs and who could play.)

Easy setup, not a hard game to learn. Strong board and pieces...lovely cards and designs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, so I finally got my hands on the Disney Larkana Gateway Trading Card Game, and I gotta say, it's pretty fun! If you're a Disney fan, especially if you're into the whole multiverse thing they've got going on, you'll probably dig this.

The artwork on the cards is gorgeous. Seriously, they've pulled characters from all over the Disney spectrum.The gameplay itself is pretty straightforward to pick up, which is a plus for someone like me who doesn't always have the patience for super complicated rules

We've read through the instructions to play and they're kind of confusing. Maybe that's just my age. 😆 We'll keep playing. It seems fun and he likes the cards.

I believe this game is meant for older kids and that it was over the head of my younger school-aged kids. I would probably not attempt to play this game again.

The Packaging is Beautiful with all the most popular Disney characters. this game is definitely for kids that are eight and up. it is a very fun game once you understand how to play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lorcana is a very fun trading card game. If you’ve played magic or yugioh, this is similar. This is a great starter set with rules and strategies included. It also contains enough cards to build two starter decks. Great set!

With a almost 7 year old if we tried to play this without a set that walked ypu through it she would have been lost.

The game is fun and we now have bought more Lorcana cards to play more versions!!!

While the game rules were a bit complex for her to fully understand at first, she ended up making up her own rules and has been having a great time playing with all the materials in her own creative way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Trading Card Game seems pretty cool and I do like how it has such a wide variety of Disney characters. It's cool for someone my age who grew up on Disney and knows all of the characters. For my little ones I had to explain to them who some of these people were! I don't know if card games are for me though. You have to learn in stages and build your skills as you progress which is something that takes a lot of time and sometimes I don't have enough time for games like this. I wish I did! The pack comes with two starting decks so you could essentially get more decks to continue the game further once you've used up everything you need. It says it takes about 30 minutes to play, I would say once you figure it out that could be accurate. Good for 8 and up!
