[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging was very eye catching with Disney characters. It has a very durable board and accessories that it comes with. However the actual gameplay instructions are confusing and not detailed enough to quite understand what you're supposed to be doing. I think it's a good value for the money if it actually allows you to understand how to play. Hopefully they can make a new one that makes more sense.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Game night! I was excited to receive this game for family game night. It reminded me a little bit of Pokémon. My kids are 11 and 14 so I do think they were a bit old for this one. But it was still a lot of fun to play. I probably would not purchase any additional trading cards and I’m not sure at my children’s age how frequently we would play this game. But for younger kids, this could be great.

I work with kids one-on-one and games like this are useful to teach lessons like taking turns and respecting others. The kids I’ve worked with love this game! The box is very well made and made to last. Also, I think it is worth the money!

It is a fun game with easy-to-understand instructions. It's a game we can all play together as a family or they can play with their friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disney’s Lorcana game is a great way to play while having some family bonding time with kids since it’s easy to learn how to play or a card game night with friends over few drinks. Quality of the cards are durable and the graphics are nice. Love Disney so can’t wait to grow my collection. Price is on par for card games and for kids to buy with their allowance to buy more sets.

If you've always wanted to play TCGs, but have felt overwhelmed with all the "advanced" mechanics of the game, you NEED this game!

Everything is set up in a step-by-step learning layout. It comes with a guidebook and tips for each deck. You start with the basic cards, then gradually "earn" more advanced cards as you learn new "moves" and become more confident in the gameplay.

It's easy to follow and the guides make referencing back to any parts of the game you forget how to do really quick and easy.

I liked that I could "reset" the decks after playing. Making it easy to share the game with friends or to go back over the mechanics of the game if needed.

I would have liked a bit more information about the different starting decks at the beginning. This would have helped in deciding which deck colors I would want to start playing with. Also separate lore counters for each player would have worked better. The placement gets a little awkward when there are a lot of cards in play or both players are on the same number. The placemat board was a bit too small for us, but it does help with referencing gameplay and knowing how to set up the layout of the game. Additional lore counters like the damage counters could came in handy for cards with +lore abilities as well.

Overall the game was SUPER FUN, easy to follow along with and learn! I wish all TCGs came set up this way!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disney Lorcana Gateway is awesome! It’s super easy to learn, and the game tells you what to do as you play. There is a website for it as well that has how-to videos and more that we used in advance. My daughter (10) loves using Disney characters to go on adventures and win story stars. She has fun challenging friends and seeing who can collect the most lore. Plus, you get new cards as you go, which makes it even more exciting. If you like Disney and playing games, you’ll love this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The package is impeccable, perfect design and very sturdy. I like that is only for 2 players so it's easy for the kids to entertain themselves 😅. It has a learning curve but it's easy enough for kids to play it and the more you know the more interesting it becomes so it keeps the kids engaged. I do recommend it

My daughter and I have had so much fun opening cards and discovering everything the game has to offer. We are both looking forward to collecting all of the different cards and see this being a family favorite for many years to come! The starter pack is a great value and is packaged incredibly well!!
