Quality of picture is as high spech to me so far. Ive kot yet start to adjust quality but fresh out the box and im not so impressed

A very good TV, with some quite cool features. I discovered that the screen-sharing function allowed me to view video files easily from my Mac over WiFi from a room in another part of my house. I had come across literal screen-sharing i.e. not sound on the shared screen device, but this was the whole shebang. The voice activated aspects are good too. My previous TV had also been an LG smart TV, and this builds on the interactivity/navigation features.

This new for 2024 QNED80 model comes with webOS 24 which unfortunately seems to have a severe UI performance issue - bringing up the guide or settings results in a spinning cursor for quite a few seconds before it appears. Simply going up or down the menu with the remote control is also sluggish. I also have the previous 2023 QNED75 model with webOS 23 and that works perfectly fine so it seems there is a software issue with the latest webOS 24. Hopefully this can be fixed but at the moment I can only give 3 stars - picture quality and app compatilibilty is good but the TV is painful too use - in fact I would recommend looking at the 2023 model instead of this.

Very nice TV and great for the price. Picture is clear and colours sharp, though blacks can be a little off. Sound is decent but not the best, so I paired it with an LG soundbar and speaker setup. The smart features and apps can be slow to respond and function, but there is a good range and they do work. Had to play around with settings upon receipt to get everything running as I wanted, so this may be necessary. Overall, a nice TV at the right price point.

The quality is exceptional, and really blows my mind.

Vibrant colours, amazing size, great sound and some really cool smart features. Easy to wall mount with my existing universal mount and has transformed my lounge. Would highly recommend.

not a bad tv as taking me some time to get used to it after owning a different make for years

Not fully set up I think? Stupidly there is no manual , even in the box just a blurred “get it out of the box”. Not everyone has a smartphone and a printer LG. For the money we pay the least to you can provide is a printed manual. The onscreen instructions are assuming you have a degree in computing and understand the jargon. You got it badly wrong LG.

Was a difficult decision which TV manufacture to go for but was advised by an high street store that the 50 inch LG QNED80 AI 4K Smart TV 2024 was the best modern new model available. Have only had the set 3 days but very pleased with the picture quality and sound setup,although you need to take your time setting it up yourself.

The Good: QNED 4K Smart TV with bright vivid colours & clear sound!

The Bad: Live TV is not centre stage on TV turn on but relegated to bottom left corner! Too many useless bloatware apps! WebOs instead of full Android!

The Ugly: Built in web browser is awful - Edge or Firefox or even Google would be better!

The colours are vibrant, delivering a crisp detailed experience! The AI upscaling makes the picture particularly impressive for the lower-resolution movies.

This new 2024 version has a really smooth, seamless built-in system which does not lag, like with the previous model, so you can access the key apps such as Netflix and Youtube quickly and easily, without the annoying wait in-between clicks. The built-in AI features make smart recommendations which are actually quite accurate based on my watching history.

The sound system is not bad, however, it is not as strong as the other features of the TV. The bass is not as strong. If you are after an exclusive sound experience, you may need a soundbar with the TV.
