Nicely constructed but I couldn’t see the teeth on the inside which wasn’t the style I was looking for. Different from the older version I preferred but needed an extra set. I think I’d get chefs tongs next time.

Bought a new grill genesis II and decided to get a new tool set from weber as we loved the one we had before. The tongs are awful and I regret spending the money. Would not have guessed they could go from great to awful. My husband hates the tongs and I am looking for a different set. Don't waste your money.
Got these as a Christmas present... first use for a roast lamb leg with potatoes.

Since the beginning, I've used these every single time I cook. The length is perfect to keep my fingers safe from the heat. They hang conveniently
onside the grill too for easy access. Great investment for me.
This tool looks well-made, but it feels cheap. It's lightweight.
I bought one of these for a second pair of tongs. My grill is far enough from my kitchen that it's inconvenient to run back inside to wash my tongs after handling raw food, and for food safety I won't use the same tongs on raw and cooked. My other set is the one that came with the deluxe kit, and those have spoiled me. The locking mechanism on these is standard. The other is superb! Nothing wrong with these, per se, but nothing stand-out spectacular with them either. I really wish Weber would sell the Deluxe tongs individually. I almost never use a spatula while grilling/smoking and never break out the grill/smoker without at least 2 sets of tongs handy (third for charcoal).
I bought my premium tongs in 2013, and they've served me faithfully ever since grilling 12 months a year in the Northeast. They grip well, don't pierce the food, clean easily, and lock reliably. Unless Weber's changed them, I recommend them wholeheartedly
Hi guys it hurts me to say this but the tongues Weber emblems fell out showing me bad workmanship. I have owned 2 grills over the last 20 yrs.And have replaced parts over and over .I recently bought a new Genesis and love it. But the tongues need to be fixed..
This foreign made tool is flimsy.
The very end should flat with no "teeth" .
Do not recommend.
Weber went backwards with this new style IMO!.. The older style is far more superior in every way!... I recommend Weber and their products but not this one!.. Bring back the old style tongs!..
Bought these tongs just yesterday and used them for the first time last night. I must say that of all the Weber accessoriesI've purchased and been very pleased with, these do not meet the same standard. The rubber grips are cheaply made and barely cover the metal tongs and are only secured at the ends (under the weber grill logo and up by the hook loop.) Along the length of the grips, the rubber is easily manipulated and peels up. Also, the spring that is supposed to open the tongs up is very weak. The set that I got will barely open themselves up at all - this isn't very handy at all when trying to pick up food items off of the grill. It does however, have a very large hook loop which makes it easy to hang off of just about anything, and the long length of them is great for keeping hands away from heat of the grill.
Overall, not a quality piece, not "premium tongs" at all, and not happy with my purchase. I've purchased tongs that are twice what these are for half the cost.
The locking mechanism is poorly engineered and didn’t work right at all. It fell apart after 2 months
I bought this set of tongs to replace my older one's which have "teeth" that would pierce through the skins of my Italian sausages. this one the "teeth" are rounded and i have had no problems with them piercing anything. These are now my go to tongs. I have since retired my other ones to my neighbor. Good quality and no major issues i'm a happy cook.
I bought these for my husband and he loves them. He really likes that he can hang them on the grill and they automatically lock closed. Excellent feature!

Ensin ajattelin, että intouduinko liikaa, kun Weber-grillin kanssa tilasin grillipihditkin, onhan niitä kotona. Kun avasin paketin, ero oli selvä: edelliset pihdit ovat hempuloita leluja!

Ihan käyvät, isohkot pihdit, tosin tuotetietojen perusteella epäselväksi jää mikä ero näillä on oikeasti Weber style -merkinnällä myytäviin (koko?) tai alle puoleen hintaan saataviin kopioihin...
