Love the vents for heat control. Arvosana 5/5Reliable, high performing large pellet smoker. Have prepared my best meats yet (brisket, ribs, whole chickens)! Regulating the temperature is easy following some basics about starting with a clean ash bin, using the water pan, using the vents. Arvosana 5/5I bought the 22in smokey mountain after careful review via YouTube videos, and definitely made the right choice, tried smoking a boar shoulder roast to test the waters before we do the turkey. Rapid chimney starter held the right amount of fuel to get fire going. As far as the smoker itself, well built, people complain about the gaps. I had NO issues controlling the fire especially on a windy day. Overall great product, turkey, ribs and everything else is getting out on here for Thanksgiving.
