My only gripe: slot for this extension is too close to one of the USB-C slots and is impossible to use both simultaneously. Extension's connector is pretty narrow already; the problem in laptop's design.

It works perfectly with my X1 Carbon.Gen 7. There are less expensive adapters on the market, but I trust Lenovo.
