Philips Shaver Series 5000 S5884/69 -parranajokone puhdistusasemalla

Had to give up razor shaving (too many nicks at my age) and was dreading having to use an electric shaver as they were rubbish when I was much younger. However this Phillips 5000 model is amazing and almost as good as a wet shave without the soreness! And the battery lasts me about 3 weeks on one charge. Very pleased.

Comparing to my old shaver, Philips has a very good battery life, I'd say it's rather lightweight. The design looks great too. It comes with a black case, it can be useful if you travel. It shaves nicely. I guess the only minus is that it takes more patience to shave a a thicker patches of hair, but it gets the job done in the end. it glides smoothly and shaves rather quickly. Overall it is a good shaver and I would recommend it!

This is by far the best razor I have owned. I have used Philips razors over 50 years and this tops the lot. Close comfortable shave in minutes. Only need to shave now once a day where as with other shavers it's been twice. Full charge last around three weeks and it then charges up again in about I hour. Also has a good trimer too.

I use it to shave 'wet' with shaving gel. I am impressed by how close it shaves and quick too, compared to my old 3000.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shaver looks minimalistic and premium. The design is well-thought through and very sleek, featuring both matte and glossy surfaces. It is lightweight but secure when you hold it, as there are specially designed bumps on both sides to make sure you get a good grip. The instructions look just like comics and are visually easy to understand. The shaver is relatively quiet (the pop-up trimmer is a bit louder) and holds the charge well, providing up to an hour of shaving time. It glides over my husband’s face smoothly and provides a comfortable shave, without pulling on the hairs. He thinks it is the best shaver he has ever used (he owns the older version of 5000 series). The pop-up trimmer is a very clever idea, as it saves a lot of time instead of having to swap the attachments. The best thing is how super easy the shaver is to rinse, after pushing just one button for the whole head to pop up. I think most people prefer to have a wet shave naturally, as dry shaving sounds more painful, but the shaver works great in both methods, according to my husband. There is no way we, as consumers, can check the existence of that new advanced SkinIQ Technology, but I am sure that Philips have definitely added this feature to the product, if it says so on the packaging and the product itself. The travel case which comes with the shaver feels soft to the touch, but firm and secure to keep the shaver safe and protected. All in all, this shaver would make any man’s life better, by saving him time and bringing the positive experience into his dreadful shaving sessions.

Facilitates quick dry shave and also very close wet shave even in the shower. Robust and easy to use except one can catch the on/off switch while shaving.

It certainly look modern. I was not sure at first as it was noisier than my previous Philips razor but it certainly cuts closer and faster
