The TV is currently running on standard settings for the picture. In the main the picture quality is good except for the rendition of anything green such as grass or trees. Far too vivid! This may be fixable by fine tuning when time permits. Also the screen goes black randomly. Don't know what is causing this so will have to contact LG. Could also do with RCA connections for sound out as there is only optical.

The difference in quality to my old tv is mind blowing.

All of these sets are affected by an HDMI handshake issue that causes audio and video drop outs. This is well documented on the forums:

The TV is not fit for purpose. Repeated firmware updates have only made the problem worse. Users are reporting that even mainboard replacements do not fix the issue.

Please look at long-term user reviews before purchasing a TV.

everything you want from deep blacks to super bright

Best TV I’ve owned. Was trying to decide between this and the QD-OLEDS but ultimately picked this for the value for money and equivalent picture quality. I haven’t been disappointed, even my wife is convinced and that is impossible a lot of the time!

Picture quality and AI Sound is unreal. I have three high end Samsung tv with poor sound quality So I am really happy with OLED55G45LW television, Highly recommended.

Having had an excellent highly reviewed Panasonic for 5 years decided to upgrade to a G4 65 having read numerous amazing reviews all saying it was the best tv on the market. Bought from my local dealer who had supplied my previous tv who delivered and set it up. Apart from the incredible picture quality the IOS with the curser is a great idea, 4 K content is truly remarkable.

Fantastic picture. Handles 50 Hz terrestrial television very well as well motion in football and cricket is also really good.

Without question the best TV I have ever owned. From the looks of it to the performance and picture quality it hasn’t missed a beat. Used primarily for gaming I have been able to take advantage of the 144Hz refresh rate. I would not hesitate to recommend this TV if you are looking for best in class performance for both regular TV watching, watching movies using the built in apps and gaming using the latest consoles or high end gaming PC/Laptop.

A few teething issues with virgin media working with the oled but once they were resolved by changing the settings it's been brilliant

Excellent unit! The display seems sharper than my previous (~8 year old LG OLED) and has a much faster response to command. The setup is very easy to follow and guides you through the steps.

As a previous owner of G1 (albeit a much smaller size 55 inch), I already had high expectations, and the G4 doesn’t disappoint. Straight out from the box, the difference in brightness is immediately noticeable. (correct me if I’m wrong, I think this is the first time LG has pout an MLA panel on the G series for 83-inch and above —and it shows! Well, it simply means you get brighter screen) The G4 handles a bright daytime living room just like a breeze. As expected, picture quality is second to none for LG’s flagship OLED tv. You can get the best contrast, true blacks and vibrant colours that pop.

Well, usually you’ll pair the G4 with a decent soundbar system, so I didn’t dig too deep into the TV speakers. The webOS is also very easy to use and the latest version feels a lot more responsive. I’m glad to hear LG now offers 5 year of webOS software updates - hopefully that will bring more great features along the way.

If budget is not an issue, there’s no need to shop around. The G4 is the choice for the ultimate home cinema experience.

Just a side note: Do check the type of the wall where you want to mount your TV as plasterboard wall (new build!) is simply not strong enough and apprently the expandable mount that comes with it doesn’t make it better. I had to borrow a stand from a friend until I find one that’s suitable for my flat.

Sinäänsä tuttu tuote kun edellinen tv oli 7 vuotta vanha LG oled C7. Aika tarkkaan tiesi mitä sai ja hiukan vielä päälle. Ainakaan toistaiseksi ei mitään negatiivista mainittavaa.

Selvästi kirkkaampi ja parempi kuva kuin edellinen oled tv:ni.

Ei voi muuta kun ihailla kuvan laatua. Kajarit on mitä on. Onneksi on omat!

Omaan makuun säädettynä (esim. valkotasapaino vakio-tilassa lämpimän puolelle 25) kuva on koukuttavan hyvä jopa huonolla resolla.

I would have given 5 stars but there is an inherrent problem with the earc on this tv. It takes 2 minutes of running before earc sends any signal to may amp(Denon 4800H). All my other inputs work immediately(Blu ray, Tivo Box). It is exactly the same if i try to use apps straight away. My previous C1 and before that B7 worked 100% straight away.

Otherwise the picture is top notch with HDR/DV performance a marvel upgrade from the C1
