LG 83'' OLED evo G4 – 4K TV seinätelineellä

Selvästi kirkkaampi ja parempi kuva kuin edellinen oled tv:ni.

Sinäänsä tuttu tuote kun edellinen tv oli 7 vuotta vanha LG oled C7. Aika tarkkaan tiesi mitä sai ja hiukan vielä päälle. Ainakaan toistaiseksi ei mitään negatiivista mainittavaa.

Tämä on yksi parhaimpia Oled televisioita, kirkkaus ja terävyys varsinkin SD kuva on hyvä. Peli ja HDR tilakin on loistava. Monipuolinen tv ja parasta on aito Oled tv, jossa värit sun muut luonnolliset. Eikä mitään muita tausta kikkailuja.

Hieno peli, ei mitään moittimista. Myös käyttömukavuus hyvä.

Tilasin 77-tuuman LG G4:n Verkkokaupan Black Friday -tarjouksesta. Tilaus tapahtui maanantaina ja tv oli perillä torstaina. En laittanut televisiota mukana tulleella telineellä seinälle, vaan sijoitin sen tason päälle jalustalle. Tv:n kuva oli tehtaan säädöillä loistava, ainoa huomautus koski kuvan liiallista kirkkautta. Kirkkauden säädön jälkeen kuva on moitteeton. LG säätää tehtaalla ainakin kalleimman pään mallien kuvat niin hyviin säätöihin, ettei kuvaa tarvitse juuri säätää. Olen tyytyväinen kuvaan ja television äänikin on mielestäni yllättävän hyvä.

Televisioon on kytketty Genelec G3 -kaiuttimet, mutta en ole vielä avannut esivahvistinta ja kuunnellut ohjelmia Genelecien kautta, sillä tv:n omat kaiuttimet toistavat äänen moitteetta. Ainoa moite koskee sitä, että hyvä- ja huonolaatuiset ohjelmat erottaa hyvin toisistaan. Hieman harmittaa en ostanut 83-tuumaista mallia.

Katsoin aiemmin Panasonicin 65-tuumaista plasmaa 12 vuoden ajan eikä 77-tuuman televisio tunnu paljon suuremmalta kuin 65-tuumainen. Panasonicin huippumallissa on myös loistava kuva eikä siinä ole mitään vikaa, joten se menee kiertoon sukulaiselle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely happy with my new LG G4 OLED TV! It is a massive upgrade from my old LG C2 in every way. The G4 has a sleek, picture frame-like design with extremely thin bezels compared to any other TV I have ever owned. This, combined with the great picture quality, makes for a brilliant viewing experience.

The new MLA tech in the TV makes it super bright even in direct sunlight. Sometimes I find the need to bring the brightness down, especially when viewing in the dark. This can be done in a couple of clicks with the new settings layout. I actually find myself switching between different picture profiles depending on what I am watching to get the best viewing experience.

One pleasant surprise was how good the new AI Processor is—it is a game-changer! I never really think about the processor when buying a TV, but the processing power within the G4 has blown my mind. My favorite part is the upscaling capability, especially when watching standard or HD content. I am now re-watching my old favorite shows like Suits and noticing details I have never seen before. Furthermore, this TV is a must-have if you are an anime fan! The vibrancy of the colors on screen is just too difficult to put into words.

The sound of the TV is decent enough that you won't need a soundbar, but LG does have a matching soundbar which is as sleek as the TV should you need the extra punch. The TV speakers are fine for me, especially when you use the AI Sound Pro function which maps out your room and adjusts the sound output accordingly.

One thing to keep in mind, especially if you buy the wall mount version like I have: the included bracket is great but it is not really usable in the UK if you want a wire-free installation. In the USA, you can have a media box installed recessed into the wall which is perfect for this TV and the no-gap wall mount. However, I was not able to find a way to get the plug sockets recessed, so I had to use the wall mount I already had installed.

In summary, the LG G4 OLED TV has exceeded my expectations. The picture quality is remarkable, and I'm absolutely loving watching my new TV!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying, no doubt I have made the right decision with the G4 ! OLED is a different world all together and none comes close to it in terms of picture quality, depth of color, sharpness and clarity and the individual pixel control is brilliant!

The TV had to be wall mounted myself ( as curry’s want offering this included in price which I realized as only delivery was included) , setting up the brackets on the wall was easy but then hanging the picture ( I mean the TV ) was a challenge and this needed another strong person with me to lift and hang- phew finally done - and yes was to be done once! So all well that ends well 😀

Now it was the next part, to setup the TV - which was pretty straightforward using the magic remote and also registered with my LG app ( already had that for my LG dryer so that got added seamlessly)

The best part of the TV is - it’s simplified - no clunky setting, simple menu, and use the AI modes which do most things for you. Easy control using LG remote if you just want to watch stuff using the inbuilt apps or just on fire stick !

The picture quality with Dolby Vision Pro is excellent and found the motion smooth all through and any media and sports . The sound to be honest needs enhancement and is not enough for this slim wall mount TV - a compatible sound system is important if you want the best results from this TV

The TV is actually quite slim and when fully to the wall just looks like a photo frame ( would have been great if it comes with some attachment bezels with it). The picture view from all angles is great and even at almost 180 degrees you can see the picture from the side.

Good amount of options to connect media, game console etc but not sure how much will be needed at same time as so many apps are in built.

Looking to explore more of this TV but is very exciting for me as now I enjoy watching TV which was not the case with my old LED TV which the contract and fading was an issue while watching dark footage. Need to get a good soundbar go go with it for sure.

Awesome I’ve got the g4 83inch best ever to ever own

Best TV I’ve owned. Was trying to decide between this and the QD-OLEDS but ultimately picked this for the value for money and equivalent picture quality. I haven’t been disappointed, even my wife is convinced and that is impossible a lot of the time!

This tv is so good overall, great picture quality, good sound and in general the tv is so smooth, works perfectly
