LG 55'' OLED evo G4 – 4K TV jalustalla

Hieno peli, ei mitään moittimista. Myös käyttömukavuus hyvä.

Tilasin 77-tuuman LG G4:n Verkkokaupan Black Friday -tarjouksesta. Tilaus tapahtui maanantaina ja tv oli perillä torstaina. En laittanut televisiota mukana tulleella telineellä seinälle, vaan sijoitin sen tason päälle jalustalle. Tv:n kuva oli tehtaan säädöillä loistava, ainoa huomautus koski kuvan liiallista kirkkautta. Kirkkauden säädön jälkeen kuva on moitteeton. LG säätää tehtaalla ainakin kalleimman pään mallien kuvat niin hyviin säätöihin, ettei kuvaa tarvitse juuri säätää. Olen tyytyväinen kuvaan ja television äänikin on mielestäni yllättävän hyvä.

Televisioon on kytketty Genelec G3 -kaiuttimet, mutta en ole vielä avannut esivahvistinta ja kuunnellut ohjelmia Genelecien kautta, sillä tv:n omat kaiuttimet toistavat äänen moitteetta. Ainoa moite koskee sitä, että hyvä- ja huonolaatuiset ohjelmat erottaa hyvin toisistaan. Hieman harmittaa en ostanut 83-tuumaista mallia.

Katsoin aiemmin Panasonicin 65-tuumaista plasmaa 12 vuoden ajan eikä 77-tuuman televisio tunnu paljon suuremmalta kuin 65-tuumainen. Panasonicin huippumallissa on myös loistava kuva eikä siinä ole mitään vikaa, joten se menee kiertoon sukulaiselle.

Sinäänsä tuttu tuote kun edellinen tv oli 7 vuotta vanha LG oled C7. Aika tarkkaan tiesi mitä sai ja hiukan vielä päälle. Ainakaan toistaiseksi ei mitään negatiivista mainittavaa.

Tämä on yksi parhaimpia Oled televisioita, kirkkaus ja terävyys varsinkin SD kuva on hyvä. Peli ja HDR tilakin on loistava. Monipuolinen tv ja parasta on aito Oled tv, jossa värit sun muut luonnolliset. Eikä mitään muita tausta kikkailuja.

G4 loistava valinta jos arvostat erittäin hyvää kuvaa ja todella siistiä ulkonäköä. Kirkkaus on aivan omaa tasoa.

LG G sarjan seinäkiinnitys on markkinoiden yksi siisteimmistä ja helppo asentaa. Tv:n saa aivan seinään kiinni ja ulkonäkö 5/5. Ostin 2kpl Toggler Snaptoggle BM6-2 lisäksi (2 kiinnikettä per pussi eli 4 kpl yhteensä). Laitoin seinäkiinnikeen kulmista näillä kiinni niin varmasti pysyy. TVn mukana tulleilla ruuveilla keskeltä.

Arvosteluiden perusteella vuoden 2024 yksi parhaista TV ja monessa vertailussa se paras. Uusi G5 on tulossa ja alustavien arvosteluiden perusteella parannuksia luvassa, mutta G4 nykyisellä hinnalla on 99% ostajille fiksumpi valinta.

Tarjouksesta 2000€, en ehkä täydellä hinnalla olisi tätä hankkinut.

Kuva on todella hyvä, erityisesti ps5 käytössä. Vähän joutuu kuvaa säätämään jos haluaa jääkiekkoa katsoa, mutta telkkarissa pystyy säätämään suht helposti melkeinpä kaikkea.

Ääni menettelee, ei ole huono muttei varsinaisesti hyväkään.

Selvästi kirkkaampi ja parempi kuva kuin edellinen oled tv:ni.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, having owned an LG CX TV for the last 3 years, and it being frankly the best TV we have ever used, I was wondering just how many improvements and refinements LG could make with the new flagship LG G4 model. Well, in short the answer is lots!

Firstly, the UI is much snappier, things happen quicker and it just feels better. This is also the case with the speakers, they are much better than the usual flat screen affair and I can see how some people might not even bother with a soundbar - not posible on older models.

The picture - well - WOW! it is exceptionally brighter than the CX, which means HDR and gaming is a step above. This coupled with the anti-glare screen coating has elevated our experience when watching movies and playing games. Perhaps often missed, the new model is also significantly better at dealing with older material. Only fools has never looked so good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG G4 combines ultra stylish design with market leading features ensuring I have a TV that brings a sense of awe each time I put it on. I wall mounted the TV myself even though I had no prior experince of mounting a TV. The Zero Gap design means the TV sits flush to the wall with no cables showing, complimenting the aesthetics of the room.

I upgraded from a TV with a 60hz refresh rate and only HDMI 2.0 which was meant I wasn’t able to use the full capabilities of my games console which supports HDR and framerates of above 60hz. I pay for various streaming platforms that offer Dobly Vision, HDR10 and HLG but again was restricted by the limited capabilities of my TV.

The LG G4 has 4x HDMI 2.1 inputs which means I can connect all my AV gadgets to the TV. The e-Arc on HDMI 2 allows me to connect my home cinema amplifier to the TV. As the AV amp doesn’t have HDMI 2.1, this set up allows the amp to process only the audio while the TV deals with the picture processing.

Screen refresh rates of upto 144hz means PC and Console games can run in maximum performance mode with gaming technologies such as VRR ensuring judder free gaming and ultrafast 0.1 ms response times which can make all the difference when playing competitive FPS games.

For watching movies, Dolby Vision combined with Dolby Atmos is the best movie watching experience you can have. It will be hard to watch anything on another TV after this. The LG G4 comes with various picture presets including Film Maker Mode which is ensures you are seeing all the detail and colour just as the Director intended.

Pin sharp details, bright and vibrant colours along with realistic skin tones will leave you searching for more and more content to show off this TVs capability.

The contrast between the infinite black levels and the super bright visuals generated by the 2nd gen MLA panel is a visual feast for the eyes compared to the washed out blacks on the LED TV I had.

The screen has an anti-glare coating which means even though it is gloss black, there are no distracting reflections when watching TV.

The only thing that would improve the user experience is to have a mounting paper template the full size as the TV which will make it easier to work out optimal placement on the wall. The supplied template is half the height of the TV and has outlines for all the sizes of TVs in the G4 range which can cause confusion.

Overall, this was the best TV I found on the market for watching TV and gaming, exceptional TV and gaming, exceptional design and future-proof features with a 5 year panel warranty.

This is a fantastic TV. Yesterday I watched the latest Bad Boys movie on it and it was sublime. Coupled with my soundbar, I felt like I had a cinema in my home for the first time. Picture quality is amazing, I like WebOs although it takes a while to get used to it. I see myself using this TV for the foreseeable future
